On Monday afternoon 03/04/1435AH, the National Society for Human Rights has received, at its headquarters, the International Labour Organization mission, which was on a visit to the Ministry of Labor in the Kingdom. It was headed by Dr. Cleopatra Dmbia Henry, the Director General of the International Labour Standards Department of the International Labour Organization , accompanied by Judge Laura Cox –  a judge in the Supreme Court, and the external expert of the  Organization, Ms. Shauna Olney , as well as the head of the equality and migrant workers unit in the international labor standards department. The visiting delegation was received by Dr. Mufleh al-Qahtani, the Chairman of the Society, and a number of the Society’s members. After welcoming the visiting delegation , he gave them a brief summary of the work of the Society and its activities concerning the expatriate labor issue. In addition, during the conversation, they have discussed the subject of equality between women and men at work in the Kingdom. The Chairman has also said that the Saudi laws do not differentiate between women and men in terms of salary or other benefits , on the contrary, there are some features that women get without men , especially with regard to vacation. Moreover, he has confirmed that the Saudi law do not differentiate between the sexes who are obtaining the same qualifications . They have discussed also the situation of the foreign workers and the labor regulations in the Kingdom.
