The National Society for Human Rights has started in appointing  coordinators from the governmental agencies to strengthen the cooperation with them.

Sharaf Al Quraafi, the supervisor of the Society’s office in AL- Madina Al-Monura, has explained that the basic statute of the Society, which is issued by the Royal Order No. 24/2 on 18/01/1425 AH, has assigned to the Society the  competence to receive complaints and follow them up with the competent authorities and verify the claims of violations and abuses of human rights. In addition, the Royal Decree No. 2 / B 4616 on 24\01\1427 AH stresses that “ the ministries and the governmental departments have to cooperate with the Society and to give it all the facilities so as to achieve its functions”. She also showed that according to this and to the directives of the Presidency of the Society, the Society’s office in Al Medina, like all the other branches, has started in choosing  coordinators from the governmental organizations to promote joint cooperation and to facilitate more effective communication in a way that will serve the human rights affairs .
