The National Society for Human Rights commends the Wise Leadership’s Directives on Rectifying the Status of Opposition Figures Abroad
The National Society for Human Rights has praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God protect him—welcoming the return of opposition citizens abroad to their homeland without facing any penalties.
In response to the statement of the President of the State Security Agency regarding the Crown Prince’s directive, which emphasized that the invitation is open to those abroad who do not face criminal charges or personal disputes but whose positions are solely based on opposition, the Society has highlighted the significance of this initiative.
Moreover, the National Society for Human Rights has emphasized the importance of benefiting from this initiative, which reflects the state’s steadfast approach in dealing with its citizens as one family, embracing them, and addressing their situations in a way that enables their return and participation in the nation’s development. It also provides an opportunity for those willing to reconsider their positions—without external interference—to return to their homeland and lead a dignified life after enduring the hardships of exile.
