On Thursday, 21/12/1437 AH corresponding to 22/9/2016 AD, the Saudi National Society for Human Rights launches a national initiative to document the humanitarian efforts of our security men during the pilgrimage season this year as it will choose the best 10 images that highlight the humanitarian role of the security men and this will be through the participation and the publication of photos in Hashtag entitled#  Humanitarian_Security_Saudi. Cash prizes will be awarded totaling 200,000 SR for the best sharing photos.

It was decided to grant the following prizes to the winning images:

• The First winner: 50.000 SR
• The Second winner: 40.000 SR
• The Third winner: 30.000 SR
• The Fourth winner: 20.000 SR
• From the fifth to the tenth : 10.000 SR for each winner

In addition, Dr. Mufleh al-Qahtani, Chairman of the Saudi National Society for Human Rights, has said that this campaign, which correspond to the Saudi National Day, aimed at highlighting the great effort carried out by the security men in the pilgrimage season this year to serve the pilgrims.

He adds saying that: “the participation will be open to all amateur or professional photographers or even images taken by camera phones but on the condition that the images should be of the pilgrimage season of this year 1437 and the participant should be the original catcher of the image.”

The Hashtag will be on Twitter for three days, Thursday 22 and Friday 23 and Saturday, September 24, 2016 and the winners will be selected basing on the interaction of people in the social networking sites with the image in addition to the opinion of the jury.

The names of the winners will be announced early next month, Muharram 1438 AH corresponding to October 2016.

Besides, he has added that this initiative will be sponsored and organized by the Society and that Dallah Al Baraka Group will be the main sponsor of the initiative and will fund the prizes. He thanks Sheikh Saleh Kamel for supporting this effective national initiative. He adds that Sa7i Channel will also be the sponsor of the visual media and the newspapers entitled Sabq and 3al Youm will be the journalist-mail sponsor as well as mix-fm and u -fm channel will be broadcaster’s sponsors.

Moreover, the National Society for Human Rights has renewed its congratulation to the leadership of the country, the citizens and residents on the occasion of the 86 anniversary of founding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the hands of the founder King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Faisal Al-Saud, God bless his soul.
