Concerning the videos circulated on social media, showing an incident inside the Social Education House in the Khamis Mushait Governorate, Asir region, the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Counselor Khaled bin Abdul Rahman Al-Fakhri, has directed the Society’s branch in the Asir region to quickly follow up and find out the facts of the incident and the perpetrators and coordinate in with the relevant authorities in the region to ensure that the rights of the abused are preserved and the perpetrators are held accountable as stipulated by the regulations in the Kingdom.

Besides, the Society’s branch in the Asir region is following up the results of the investigations of the committee, which was directed by His Royal Highness, the Emir of the Asir region, to ensure the preservation of the rights of all.
