The Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Counselor Khalid Al-Fakhri, has confirmed that organizing the regulations of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of the work environment in the security guards sector by issuing requirements to work in this sector will oblige the relevant authorities to work according to them  and will contribute to provide many guarantees for workers in these professions. To illustrate,  the regulations determine an upper limit for continuous working hours and organize the rest times and the general environment for work, especially that workers in the security guards sector make a double effort in order to perform their tasks and thus provide a safe and healthy work environment for them.

In addition, Al-Fakhri has explained that the requirements have included many human rights dimensions that would contribute in preserving the rights of workers in the security guards sector. For more illustration, they have stipulated setting working hours so that they do not exceed five consecutive hours without a period for rest, prayer and food. Moreover, they have obligated the employer to provide the appropriate uniforms for his security guards workers with the necessity of adhering to the provision of what guarantees the protection of the security guard from the effects of exposure to sunlight and heat stress. There are many other requirements that must be adhered to by the employer towards his security guard, whether the internal or external environment in which the security man works and which contributes to more guarantees for workers in this vital and important sector.
