The National Society for Human Rights strongly condemns the criminal terrorist attack on mosques in New Zealand, and extends its condolences to the victims’ families and calls for the speedy recovery of the injured.
The Society has also stressed that such terrorist incidents on places of worship are fueled by racist orientations and by some extremist media which seek to incite hatred and anti-Muslimism, which requires the enactment of laws in these countries so as to criminalize it.
