On Tuesday, 18/11/1444 AH, corresponding to 06/06/2023 AD, His Royal Highness, Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, has received His Excellency the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Counselor Khaled bin Abdul Rahman Al Fakhri, and the Society’s members.

His Highness has praised the roles played by the Society in accordance with its terms of reference and its efforts in all the regional and international forums.

Besides, he has listened to a brief summary concerning the Society’s work and its role in protecting and promoting human rights, spreading awareness about them, and contributing to ensure the implementation of this in the light of  Islamic law provision.

During the meeting, a number of issues were reviewed, in addition to reviewing the Society’s efforts so as to enhance the desired goals.

His Excellency the Chairman of the Society, on his part, has expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness for his support. In addition, His Highness has praised the educational role played by the Society in order to spread awareness of the rights of individuals stipulated by the laws in the Kingdom. At the end of the meeting, His Highness has received a copy of the annual report for the Society.

The meeting was attended by a number the National Society for Human Rights’ members.
