On Wednesday 04/11/1444 AH corresponding to 24/05/2032 AD, His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has received at his headquarter office of the Diwan of the Emirate in the Buraidah city the following:  his Excellency the Chairman of the National Society for Human rights Counselor Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Fakhri, and a number of the Society’s members, including the supervisor of the Society’s branch in Qassim, Dr. Saleh bin Abdul Rahman Al-Sharida, Dr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Luhaidan, and the director of the branch in charge Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Shraideh, as well as the members of the branch’s advisory board: Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Shraideh, Mr. Badr bin Saleh Al-Wahaibi, Mr. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Wabli, Mr. Sulaiman bin Hamad Al-Dowayan, Dr. Hamad bin Saleh Al-Ghunaim and Dr. Saud bin Hamad Al-Saqri. They have all presented peace to His Highness and highlighted the achievements of the Society (NSHR) as well as handing over to His Highness the second report of the branch’s work in the region, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Emirate of Qassim, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Wazzan.

Besides, during the meeting, His Highness has stressed the care of the Kingdom – may God cherish it – for human rights programs, pointing out that the Emirate of Qassim is one of the first emirates of the regions to establish a human rights unit at the Emirate’s Diwan. He has also added saying that Al-Qassim has continuous programs and initiatives in accordance with the objectives that contribute to the human rights preservation and that stress the importance of the role of the National Society for Human Rights in preserving the human aspect of man in his life and society and the rights that are guaranteed by the Islamic religion in accordance with the Quran and the Sunnah of his Holy Prophet, and that is what the wise leadership is actually keen to apply. In addition, the Prince of Qassim has listened to a brief explanation from the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights concerning the Society’s efforts, objectives, activities and field visits to various sectors, explaining that the Society aims to achieve the Kingdom’s  goals regarding human rights, in accordance with the international, global, Arab and Islamic conventions approved by the Kingdom within the framework of the provisions of Islamic Sharia.
