The Ambassador Coordinator for Migration and Refugee Issues of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affair, Mr. Jan Knutsson, accompanied by the Swedish Ambassador of the Kingdom, Mr. Dag Yulin, have visited the National Society for Human Rights during which they met HE the Chairman of the Society, Dr.Mufleh Al-Qahtani. After giving the visiting delegation a brief explanation regarding the Society’s activities,  they have talked about the development of human rights’ situation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the effort exerted by the Kingdom to accommodate the Syrian and Yemeni refugees despite the enormity of their numbers as well as enabling them to work and take advantage of public services. They have also discussed the mechanism of the European countries for receiving the refugees and the subsequent events in some countries. Moreover, the visiting delegation has explained how the Sweden mechanism accommodates the refugees and ensures their integration in the Swedish society. Besides, the Chairman of the Society has asserted on how Saudi Arabia has dealt with the refugee problem perfectly and enabled the Syrian and the Yemeni refugees to enjoy their right to a decent living. Dr Al-Qahtani adds saying that the hesitated attitude of the International Community from solving the regional issues resulted in the emergence of refugees problems especially in Syria and Iraq. The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General of the Society Mr. Khaled Abdurrahman Al-Fakhri and the Secretary of the Chairman of the Society Mr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mahmoud.
