The Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights (NSHR) has participated in the 4th International Conference for Disability and Rehabilitation which was conducted under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and was inaugurated by His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman. Besides, the Chairman of the NSHR has described the situation of the person with disabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with being “unsatisfactory” as  the complaints that were received by the Society have highlighted that we need extra efforts to solve the problems that they face. He adds saying “We are now at the stage of managing the problem and discussing the initial solutions, and we are in a deep need to enable the disabled of their rights in the fields of education and health and facilitating their access to the services as well as creating a national register for the numbers of the disabled people in the Kingdom.
