On Sunday, 21/10/1443 AH, corresponding to 23/05/2022 AD, His Excellency the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Counselor Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Fakhri, has participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Anti-Bullying Forum, which focuses on the procedures followed towards this behavior and how to reject and eliminate it. It is held by Riyadh schools in cooperation with Family Affairs Council.

His Excellency has delivered a speech during the forum on “The Impact of Bullying and its Psychological and Health Damage Results”. He has also asserted that the victim should not remain silent about these cases and the need to report them. In addition, during his speech, the Society’s Chairman has stressed on the importance of the complementary role between school and home alike to monitor any changes in the behavior of adolescents and children and to identify their causes and work to address them. He also added that the Child Protection Law shall punish those by imprisonment for a period not exceeding (two years) and a fine not exceeding (one hundred) thousand riyals, or by one of these two penalties, for anyone who actually commits a form of an act of abuse.
