The National Society for Human Rights, in partnership with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Matarat Holding Company, has launched a year-long national awareness campaign in several languages that aimed at highlighting the positive transformations that the Kingdom is experiencing regarding the promotion and protection of human rights and raising awareness of them, in addition to highlighting the guarantees included in the regulations in the Kingdom for the enjoyment of individuals’ rights.

The Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Mr.Khalid bin Abdul Rahman Al-Fakhri, has said that the Society, aimed at promoting and protecting human rights, has launched this national awareness campaign so as to raise the human rights awareness guaranteed by the Kingdom’s regulations and introduce them and the guarantees they contained that enable a citizen, resident or visitor to enjoy his rights, through phrases that include texts from the Basic Law of Governance and a number of Saudi regulations in force in Several locations within the Kingdom’s airports.

Besides, it is worth mentioning that the campaign has covered the arrival and departure halls, check-in sites, baggage claim and waiting halls. The National Society for Human Rights has chosen the Kingdom’s airports to launch the campaign as it is the most prominent interface and strategic platforms for awareness campaigns.

Finally, the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights appreciates the quick response from the officials of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Matarat Holding Company to participate in the success of the campaign.
