After receiving many complaints from the ” Bedoon ” category concerning their inability to bury their dead in graves except by the identity papers,  which led them to bury them  in distance places , the Society has addressed the emirates of the regions so as to facilitate the issuance of  the burial permits of the Bedoon  who passed away in the Kingdom ,and the required documents will be completed in the later stages. This is a part of its efforts to find quick and exceptional solutions regarding this file.
Moreover, the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights , Dr. Mufleh al-Qahtani, in a statement to “Al-Watan ” newspaper, has said that “there are some administrative difficulties facing the ” Bedoon ” category in the regions of the Kingdom that do not allow them to take advantage of their rights , including the denial of burying their dead in the graves. Hence, the Society has addressed the regions’ emirates so as to facilitate the issuance of  the burial permits to this category in all the region’s graves, without the identification papers, taking into account the humanitarian aspect”. In addition, he said that the Society has raised a letter to the Ministry of  Interior to solve the problems faced by this category and suggested through  it several mechanisms that have received positive responses”.  He added that this category are deprived from many of the state services that are depending on the e civil registry campus because they do not have identification papers. This situation has became complicated because of the increasing number of the Bedoon in the area.

Dr. Al -Qahtani  has also said that the ladies of the ” Beidoon ” cannot marry because their marriage cannot be documented without identification papers.Hence, the Society has called the courts ,the emirates , and others to find temporary solutions to them . ” He added saying that ” the progress in the file of the Bedoons is very slow so that we should take action to find satisfactory solutions for this category as they are sons of the country ” . He has said also that he does not encourage to depend on the chief of the tribe , or who is known as the ” Corporal ” to prove their identities , since most of them are claiming that they are from Saudi origin. Consequently, it is better to leave the governmental bodies resolve this matter “.

Besides, Al-Qahtani has assured that ” the Society has included many suggestions during addressing the Ministry of the Interior regarding this file. For instance, recertifying the civil registry for those who have , and renewing their expired card or passport , and granting them identification papers showing their situation. For more illustration,  in some cases, the father did not add his son or wife , then he died ,and thus through years those became undocumented. In addition,  some people claim  that they are Saudis , and have Saudi documentation , and then they discovered that they are not citizens , after being married from Saudi women and having children , and then left the country , leaving their children without papers . “
