After the follow-up of the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Dr. Mufleh Rabiean Al-Qahtani and the Supervisor of the Society’s branch in Mecca Prof. Suleiman al-Zaidi, the Society branch in Makah has found the infant, battered by her father, in her grandfather’s house to her father, in Al- Khaldiya district and was moved to the maternity hospital and was accompanied by a social worker Mina Al-Ahmadi who has taken her from her grandfather.

The infant Darren has been detected in the hospital and they confirmed that she is well and there is no need to stay in the hospital according to the medical report issued by the hospital.

Baby Darren was handed over to the WAC charity Association in the care of infants as the age of the baby is three months.

The Society has figured that the baby’s mother was divorced and lives with her family in Al-Medina city and that her accused father has escaped.

Besides, the National Society for Human Rights has made an official announcement to the Mansour police station where the infant’s family lives and requested the arrest of the culprit Father.

The National Society for Human Rights’ team includes the branch’s legal scholar Mr. Abdullah Fadel and Mr. Shakir Al-Sharif who were there and filed a complaint to the Department of Mansour police station in Mecca and the case has remained under the supervision of the supervisor of the Society’s branch in Mecca who follows up the case of the baby in the hospital till it was received by WAC Charity Association.
