The National Society for Human Rights has appealed the Saudi youth joining any extremist organizations or parties outside the Kingdom to take advantage of the Royal Decree No. 16820, on 05/05/1435 AH, which grants, all those who have participated in hostilities outside the Kingdom, an additional period of 15 days from the date of issuance of this command to rethink and return sooner to their homeland.

Besides, Dr Mufleh bin Rabiean Qahtani, the Chairman of the Society, has said that “ the Society appreciates such Royal Decree which achieves the public interest and gives the opportunity for the people of this beloved country to return to their homeland and undo their decision to continue to stay in the places of temptation especially that some of them have seen the reality and knew the truth as they have realized that the safest and most desirable to them, their families and their homeland , as well as their religion is to return to their country.” He has also pointed out that this decree is considered a chance for those who wish to return and take advantage of the grace period given through communicating with the nearest Saudi embassy or representation so as to facilitate their return to the country. Moreover, he has stressed that those who did not take the initiative to return in time limit will be exposed to the penalties referred to in the orders issued in this regard .
