In response to Amnesty International’s report on the existence of violations against some detainees in the Kingdom, the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights, Dr. Mufleh Al-Qahtani, has said that the Society did not observe any of such violations and no one has filed a complaint regarding that. He has also called the Amnesty International to provide them with any available information to search of its validity but launching such charges without evidence is not consistent with the mechanisms of human rights work. In addition, he has said that there is coordination with the competent bodies in the Kingdom that allows the Society’s members and employees to follow the situations of the cases that they have received complaints regarding them.
