The National Society for Human Rights has welcomed the statement issued by the Public Prosecution regarding the case of the citizen Jamal al-Khashqaji, may God have mercy on him. The Chairman of the Society, Dr.Mufleh  Al-Qahtani, has said that the Public Prosecution’s statement is an important step in a series of steps that will end with punishing those who participated in committing this heinous crime that is considered a violation of the values and principles that underpin the Saudi state since its inception.

Besides, he has stressed that the Society has full confidence in implementing the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on this issue, that stressed on the firm accountability of those who are responsible.

In addition, he has also said that it is important to complete the investigations in order to serve justice and answer all the questions, and close the door in the face of all those who try to exploit this issue to harm the reputation of the Kingdom and its leadership.

He has also called the Turkish authorities to hand over their evidence or information to the Saudi authorities because it is not logic to demand the statement of truth and refrain from handing over what contributes to uncovering it.

Finally, he adds saying that there are attempts by some countries and organizations to exploit this issue politically so as to harm the Kingdom’s reputation and not limiting it in its criminal and humanitarian part.
