Today we celebrate the 90th National Day of our dear country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and on this occasion I extend my sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, to His Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, may God preserve them and to the honorable Saudi people.

In addition, on this day we remember those lofty principles upon which our dear country was founded, based on the eternal law of Islam and entrenched in the values ​​of justice, equality and tolerance, and what the founder, King Abdul-Aziz Al Saoud, may God have mercy on him and his early fathers, has instilled about the historic heroics of establishing this blessed country and unifying its speech and spreading its influence over a wide area of ​​the Arabian Peninsula. This was followed by a subsequent phase of construction and development that was led after the founder, may God have mercy on him, by his sons, the Kings, may God have mercy on them, until the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him. For more illustration, the King Salman leads our country with a wise vision and good steps in all fields and His arm is strengthened by His Highness, the Crown Prince, through the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, through which our country seeks to have an advanced position among the developed countries in the world. Moreover, the security and safety that the Kingdom enjoys today as it celebrates its ninetieth national day lets us thank God first, and then work to strengthen the national cohesion, reject division and difference, and enhance interest in protecting human rights in our country, as well as spread awareness of its culture between the citizen and the official. Countries rise and transcend according to their interest in caring for the rights of their people and residents on their lands. And in this exceptional year, we witnessed the keenness of the leadership of this blessed country towards its people and residents on its lands by adopting the highest standards of health and safety to confront the Corona pandemic, while we witnessed the failure of some governments around the world, including some developed countries in facing this pandemic.

Besides, there is no doubt that the celebration of the National Day provides an opportunity to evaluate the achievements and to be prepared to launch toward achieving a brighter future through cooperation and participation of all sectors and relevant authorities in the country to enable access to services in general and facilitate access to digital services in particular since we rely on them to fulfill many of the human right service, such as the right to education, health and other rights, which requires concerted efforts by everyone to ensure the fulfillment of these rights for all without exception.

Despite some challenges that the human rights authorities face in our country in order to spread the human rights culture to the citizen and the official, it is with the unlimited support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz and His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God preserve them, their support for human rights and sustainable development in our country, that makes us receive our national days with more hope and ambition. Their support helps us to achieve more progress in the field of empowering citizens and everyone who resides on this blessed land. To illustrate, they have their rights by dealing positively with the regulations and instructions related to providing services, empowering rights, fighting intolerance and extremism, and seeking common cooperation and coordination to the progress of our country and our society in light of cohesion and solidarity between the people and the leadership.
