British delegation visits the Society
On the morning of Sunday, 29/12/1434 AH, a delegation from the British Foreign Office including Mr. Kenny Taylor, Mr. Chris Stmpson accompanied by Mr. Stephen Deek ,the second secretary and Mr. Salah Taha, the Information Officer from the British Embassy, has visited the National Society for Human Rights and was received by His Excellency the Chairman of the National Society for Human Rights , Dr. / Mufleh bin Rabiean Qahtani. At the beginning of the meeting, they talked about the activities of the Society and its contribution to spread the culture of human rights in the Kingdom. The visiting delegation has talked about what has been discussed recently in the human Rights Council regarding the report of the Kingdom and the recommendations and observations that have been raised about it. In addition, the Society has discussed the British stance towards the human rights violations occurring in Syria now, and those that occur in the occupied Palestinian territories. At the end of the meeting, the visiting delegation has thanked the Presidency of the Society for the warm reception. From the Society’s side: the Secretary-General of the Society in charge, Mr. Khaled bin Abdul Rahman Fakhri, and a member of the monitoring Committee Dr . Ibrahim Suleiman have attended the meeting.
